Fruit sourced from a single vineyard - Berry Vineyard - in the serene Kuitpo Forest in the Adelaide Hills. Typically made as a table wine, best known from the northern Italian region of Piemonte, the barbera gives up delicious red fruits and super crunchy acid in this rosè style Pét-Nat.
The fruit was handpicked, chilled and then whole bunch pressed. Wild fermentation on full solids adds a delicious textural component to balance the natural bright acidity. Bottled towards the end of fermentation to finish to dryness, capturing the spritz of fermentation in the bottle, as historically made in the pétillant naturel style. Minimal sulphites, vegan friendly. Full of flavour, texture and fun with none of the funkiness you might normally expect from a natural wine - win over the purists with this tipple!
