Deviation Road 2018 'Loftia' Vintage Brut
The Fizz
Knock-offs, the start to a luxe dinner, cheeky boozy brunch, or a gift for a special someone - this is the wine that fits all.
The 'Loftia' is a vintage blend of even parts pinot noir and chardonnay from Lenswood and Piccadilly Valley from the cool climate Adelaide Hills.
A swell of brioche and pine nut on the nose; long lasting flavours of crisp, refreshing citrus supported by generous fuji apple on the palate, accentuated by a fine beady mousse. With no oak intervention, partial malolactic fermentation, and close to 4 years on tirage in this new release, there is a sensational freshness in this fizz, which for the patient amongst us, will only build complexity and personality with a few more years under cork age.
A versatile cuvée which answers all your questions.
