Margaret River needs no introduction when it comes to world-class chardonnay. Vasse Felix's obsession with sparkling wine, or idée fixe, led to the creation of their dedicated sparkling label, and we couldn't be happier.

The vines for this 100% chardonnay are located in Karridale, in the south-west pocket of coastal Western Australia, just south of the Margaret River. The second press of Premier Brut chardonnay is combined with 9% of pinot noir to create a delicate salmon-pink rosé colour.  

After 20 months on lees, a neat 5.2 g/L dosage is added before sealing under cork. The initial aromas of apple, pear and grapefruit are followed by a sensationally rich palate of citrus, pomegranate and pepperberry.

The rosé sister of the Premier Brut, this stellar sparkling can be enjoyed by itself, with roasted seafood, beef carpaccio or delicate creamy camembert.
