Primo Estate NV Prosecco
The Fizz
Born in in the Veneto region of Italy, glera (prosecco) made its way to Australia in 1999 and planted in the premier prosecco region of the King Valley. The cool-climate of central Victoria offers cold nights and evenly warm days, preserving the delicate aromatics of prosecco.
It's here that Joe Grilli (Primo Estate) sources his prosecco, as well as from the Riverland and McLaren Vale, giving a multi-regional prosecco blend.
Although listed as non-vintage, this is 100% 2021 harvest, regarded as a great vintage across regions. Made in the traditional Charmat method, the wine offers tangy pineapple, ripe lemon zest and peach with a calm effervescence to refresh and cleanse the palate. Terrific homage to the Italian roots of this grape.
